Colorado Live Steamers
A large-scale live steam railroad club with a planned 2-1/2 mile mainline for realistic railroad operation. We are currently building a turntable and steamup bay facilities. Our railroad is located 40 miles east of Denver adjacent to I-70 in Byers, CO.

Denver Garden Railway Society
The DGRS was founded in 1979. It is one of the oldest and foremost garden railway societies in the US. They have monthly meetings with a program covering some element of garden railways. Meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month. Specific dates and times as well as program topics are announced in the DGRS Newsletter. The Denver Garden Railway Society have had a garden railway at CRRM since 1996. DGRS operates during steamups at CRRM. They are very active and can be found at CRRM most weekends.

Denver HO Model Railroad Club
The Denver HO Model Railroad Club is one of the oldest and largest model railroad clubs in the Rocky Mountains. The club is housed in the lower level of the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, Colorado. The layout features HO, HOn3 and Traction to replicate Colorado mountain railroading.

Intermountain Chapter National Railway Historical Society (NRHS)
The Intermountain Chapter was formed at CRRM in 1960. They have been renowned for books published and trips they ran in their own equipment, CB&Q business car #96 and AT&SF observation sleeper Navajo from the original streamlined 1937 Super Chief. These cars as well as CB&Q #5629 4-8-4 reside at CRRM. They are open during steamups.

The Chapter publishes a bimonthly newsletter, "Intermountain News". They hold dinner meetings once a month at Rossi's Catering Hall at 4980 Kipling Street in Wheat Ridge, CO. Dates and topics vary.

Rocky Mountain Railroad Club
RMRRC was founded in 1938. It is one of the oldest and best known railroad clubs in the nation. The club is renowned for a variety of fan trips and informative books published since 1949.

Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at Christ Episcopal Church, 2950 S. University Boulevard at Bates Avenue in the southwest wing. Meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and last until 9:00 p.m. Topics of Colorado and general railfan interest are presented as slide or video shows. Admission is free for first-timers. Members receive a monthly "Rail Report" newsletter.

Youth in Model Railroading
Youth in Model Railroading is a national model railroading organization exclusively for kids. Right now there is one division, located in the Denver Metro Area.
