The DGRS's G-scale layout is located behind the museum building. This layout
was started in 1996. It has been very popular with the museum visitors and
is fascinating to watch.
DGRS always operates on steam-up dates. Most Saturdays in the summer months
will find the G-scalers running trains. There is also a small gauge live
steamers alongside the G-scalers. They run on operating days and the locomotives,
though live steam, are radio-controlled.
